1. At Least She's Happy --- ughh, why does it annoy me so much when people say this. Usually, its like after someone does something stupid or terrible...and everyone is like, well, "at least she's happy." And I just want to say, no, no, no. Life isn't about everyone being happy. So just stop.
2. What Being a Christian is NOT--- ok, I'm getting annoyed that people make their faith synonymous with things that are not central to Christianity.
Being a Christian is NOT
a political party
a stance on a controversial issue
being a "good" person
a life full of success, happiness, and prosperity
a set of rules to follow
3. My husband is the coolest -- seriously though. I admire him very much.
Ok that's about it for now.
A hearty amen to numero 2! And I feel like for the first one whenever someone says that I feel like saying "Yeah... for now. What about later on though?" I feel like people are not the best at long term thinking a whole lot anymore.
