Be Here

I'm happy to be here. And by here, I mean, here in life.

It's so easy to always be looking forward to the next big thing, the next life stage. And when that happens its exciting.

But sometimes it's nice to just be. To be where I am and enjoy it...really enjoy it.

These days I'm just being and I like it.

I love being a wife. I love working my dream job as a researcher. I love not having kids right now. I love having a home in the Midwest in a hippie-ish little college town. I just love being here.

I heard this quote somewhere and I love it...

Winter is for grace. 
You can't go and do.
You must stay and be. 

Praying that I can be content to stay and be until God is ready for me to go and do.
