Well this week has been relatively uneventful. On Wednesday, Pastor Wicker, here for the trustee meeting, took a group of us out to dinner which was so amazing. Also, the cold(er) weather has struck. It is usually the upper 40s in the morning and warms up to the low 60s during the day. Yesterday when I was running I got windburn on my face from the cold/wind. Joe’s Java last night was great, I got to tutor Carlos again, he seems to be doing well and he remembers what we taught him from the previous week. I got back just in time to watch the vice presidential debate…interesting. Today there is so many exciting things! At 3:00 are the cardboard canoe races on Cedar Lake. Yes the engineering student must make a canoes out of basically poster board and then they see who can get across the lake first, without sinking. It should be interesting because a lot of our friends are going to be riding in the canoes. (Remember its 60 degrees outside) Afterwards one word. SUSHI. Can’t wait.
